Solar Power Hour

Tuesday, May 30, 2017 - 7:00pm to Wednesday, May 31, 2017 - 7:45pm
Westgate Library, 2503 Jackson Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI 48103

Curious as to whether solar power is right for you? Join us for a Solar Power Hour to find out!

The A2 Solar Club was formed to help streamline the switch to solar energy for community property owners and propel Ann Arbor towards meeting our climate goals. This program is a partnership between the City of Ann Arbor, its Energy Commission, the Clean Energy Coalition, and Geostellar.

At the event, you’ll learn about how to decide whether your home is a good candidate for solar; first steps for getting started with a solar project; how to decide whether to take out a loan or purchase your panels outright; what the payback period will be; and how the federal 30% tax credit works.

No RSVPs needed, and please share with anyone that owns homes or business properties in Washtenaw County.

For more information about the program in general, please reach out to Cassandra Fletcher-Martin at the Clean Energy Coalition. Email: cassandra@cec-mi.org or phone: (734) 585-5720
